Hey guys! Ever since I got to Colorado, I have pondered a very important question:

“How can I simultaneously worry family members and incapacitate myself for an entire day afterwards without dying?”

By climbing Pikes Peak, of course!

I was googling tips on climbing the peak when I came across this event. I’m hoping by participating in this event I can make this goal not just about crossing off a bucket list item, but also about helping people who life decided to sweep off their feet. No one really expects something like a traumatic brain injury to happen to them. One day you’re driving in a car with a couple friends or just walking down the stairs, and suddenly an accident makes what was once normal into an uphill battle. Its not fair. Survivors of TBI deal with so many new challenges and obstacles, and I’m honored to work with a charity to help.
