My Traumatic Brain Injury occurred on June 13, 2018 after a bicycle wreck near my home. I had just turned 31 two days prior, and had my third baby girl 8 weeks prior. So Lord knows I had a heavy load!

A successful craniotomy saved my life that night, praise God. Six months later, I had complication number 1: an urgent craniectomy after it was discovered that my bone flap had not fused and was infected and dead, infecting my brain.

I was left without a skull for 4 months and in horrible condition – unable to take care of myself much less my three daughters, aged 0, 2 and 3 at the time.

I had a minor surgery #3 to prepare for the final surgery.

Finally in April 2019, I had my fourth brain surgery where they replaced the missing skull with a titanium plate. Since then, I have been continuing to recover, getting stronger every day!!

Thanks for reading, please consider donating to the fund I’ve created to help those who suffer in the condition I could have been in!!
