Melissa is a part-time faculty member at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She also works in the university writing center as well as part-time work with Corona Insights. In January 2012, she sustained a traumatic brain injury in a bicycle accident. She still likes to ride her bike, hike, travel, and read.
