Hi, Im Meagen

I dont hike. Im not a hiker... But this year things changed. My husbands best friend passed away in a very unfortunate car accident. Watching his beautiful wife, and my husband be so strong in this awful event has inspired me to also be strong.

What does this have to do with Pikes Peak Challenge and the Brain Injury Association you wonder? Well, my husband, was diagnosed with Epilepsy after a biking accident at the age of 14. This on its own has caused so many struggles and hurdles in our lives that we have had to overcome, and are still (and will always be) working on.

BUT as this is the reason we know about the Challenge, this is only part of why I hike this year.

I hike for Josh, his friend Jesse, Jesse’s wife, and my friend Jessica, and their son Tyler. Jesse came to Colorado to hike Pikes Peak with Josh in what was supposed to have been a one-time deal to prove that they could do it. This year I hike to commemorate Jesse, to support my Husband Josh and Jesse’s wife, Jessica.
