I've spent my whole career in the ski industry—working at Vail Resorts, a PR agency, and SKI Magazine. I moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for job at a different PR agency, and a month and a half after I moved there, a backcountry ski accident caused a TBI. I broke my right ankle in that ski accident, so it's weak, and if I'm not careful about the terrain I walk on, I can sprain it very easily. So, in order to participate in this event, I am doing the walk around Manitou. Maybe next year I can at least go up to Barr Camp, but right now, I'm just doing the walk to join in and help support other TBI athletes!!
