I’m participating in the Pikes Peak Challenge Summit Hike
Since 2018, I’ve actively participated in the Pikes Peak Challenge. The Brian Injury Alliance of Colorado (BIAC) brings resources to traumatically brain-injured patients and their families here in Colorado. BIAC provides services immensely helps patients and their families when the unexpected happens. I have seen the positive influence they have had on patients I’ve cared for, and in turn, I’d like to pay it forward.

I’m participating in the Pikes Peak Challenge Summit Hike
For the past three years, I’ve actively participated in the Pikes Peak Challenge. The last two years making the trek to the top of Pikes Peak and this year with a COVID-19 twist as it’ll be a virtual challenge. On Sunday, August 23, 2020, four trekkers hiked Mt. Democrat, Mt. Cameron, Mt. Lincoln and Mt. Bross (jumping picture below). With a background in critical care nursing and trauma; I couldn’t think of a better non-profit organization to support. This organization brings resources to traumatically brain injured patients and their families here in Colorado. This is no easy task and immensely helps patient’s and their families when the unexpected happens.
