I first hiked to the summit of Pikes Peak in 2008.  After several years of Isabel’s begging me to join her on Barr Trail, I will hike the mountain again – this time for a cause!  

On September 12th I will join Isabel in the Pikes Peak Challenge Summit Hike supporting the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado (BIAC). We will hike 13 miles and 7,400 vertical feet to the 14,110 foot summit of Pikes Peak to join other hikers in celebration of brain injury awareness.  

It will be a privilege to hike for the many survivors of traumatic brain injury. I look forward to joining Isabel (who will come home from college) for these miles.  The trek will provide an opportunity to catch up and enjoy the outdoors!
