For many years our family has been a part of The Pikes Peak Challenge in numerous ways, whether that be volunteering, hiking or working on a committee. This year due to a variety of circumstances, no-one from the Farris clan are able to hike, so we are going to participate virtually. Lane, our middle son, is in his last year of college football and has an away game in New Mexico the day of the challenge, so instead we will be participating remotely. Danny and I will video our walk and are just honored to do whatever we can to support this amazing organization. Our nephew suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2007 and continues to fight every single day! Jackson is the strongest, most determined, kind-hearted individual we know. He is the light in the dark, the joy in our sorrow, and everything that is great. Uncle D (aka Danny) is one of his favorite people and anytime Jackson can come over and shoot his bow or just hang out in the shop, brings us such joy and we are thankful that he not only survived, but is thriving. The Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado was there for our family when we were in the worst times of our lives, so the least we can do is help raise money for this amazing organization in any way possible. The Pikes Peak Challenge is BIAC’s biggest fundraiser and supports numerous programs. No amount is too small and ALL donations are greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your support!
Danny and Lisa Farris
