Dear Family and Friends,
On September 7th, 2024, I’m taking the Pikes Peak Challenge to raise money on behalf of the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado (BIAC), a non-profit organization that provides critical support to survivors of a brain injury in our state. This cause is important to me because it can help people access services to improve their lives.
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) has the highest incidence of all common neurological disorders, but there’s often no physical scar; therefore, it is often misunderstood. Each survivor of a brain injury is unique and can be struggling with so many things. Thankfully, they are not alone. Every day, BIAC provides the support, connections, and available resources that survivors and their support networks need.
BIAC relies on funding from supporters like you to provide services to survivors. To do my part, I am testing my physical and mental abilities as I climb to 14,000′ in the Pikes Peak Challenge – Summit Hike. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it to support a great cause!
